Tocumwal Trio take Regional Title

The Murray Playing Area was represented in the Goulburn Murray Regional State Titles by Leigh Hansen (skip), Cheryl Townsing and Effie Eaton. They played the Goulburn Valley trio of D. Best, M. Cerini and L. Freeman at Shepparton Golf Bowls Club. After some great bowls from both teams the scores were level at 14 all going into the last end. The Tocumwal ladies were able to play a very good end to come out winners 17/14. They will now represent the Region in the State Championships on 28 April at Bendigo East Bowls Club. Well done Ladies and all the best for Bendigo.
