More success for Murray bowlers at Regional level

Stanhope Bowls Club hosted the latest round of Central Goulburn Murray State Events.

Geoff Sutcliffe of Numurkah Golf and Bowls Club joined Sue Jamison of Picola as the Regional Singles Champion of Champions. He defeated Jason Carter of Tatura in the morning 25-17, and followed up in the afternoon by defeating Max Hammond of Seymour 25-21. Some brilliant bowls were played by all three players.

In the Mixed Pairs Kevin Saunders paired with Kerry Baldacchino, as his wife Ieva was unable to play due to injury. The Cobram Bowls Club duo defeated David and Olivia Cartwright from Hill Top 19-13 in the morning, and followed up in the afternoon by defeating Steve and Sharon Hall of Eildon 21-14 in the final.
