More success for Murray at the CGM State titles

Murray Division players played against teams from Central and Goulburn Valley Divisions at Tatura on Sunday, and were the eventual winners in three of the four sections played.

Sue Jamison of Picola Bowls Club played a wonderful game against Olivia Cartwright of Hill Top Golf and Bowls Club to become the CGM State Women’s Champion of Champion.

Not to be outdone Chris Philpot from Tocumwal Golf Bowls Club followed suit with a great display of draw bowls to defeat John Stokes of Shepparton Golf Bowls Club, in the final of the CGM State Men’s Singles.

Murray continued to lead the way with Geoff Sutcliffe and Frank Houlihan of Numurkah Golf and Bowls Club winning the CGM Men’s pairs. They defeated David and Josh Cartwright of Hill Top Golf and Bowls Club.
