Midweek Premiers

Congratulations to all teams who participated in the Midweek Pennant season. The season was played in good spirit with some great bowling by all players.

The final was played on the slick Finley green and the many spectators enjoyed the matches.

In Division 1 Cobram were too good on the day for Numurkah Golf, who were unable to repeat last year’s performance. The overall score was even for most of the match, but Cobram were able to come home strongly and win 66 to 55. Cobram will now play the Goulburn Valley premiers, Shepparton Golf, on Tuesday 12 March at Cobram Bowling Club to determine the Region winner. Play will commence at 10am.

In Division 2 Katandra West played Numurkah 2, who had come from fourth place at the end of the season to play the grand final. In the end Katandra West were too strong for Numurkah, and came out winners 57 to 41.
