Tocumwal Golf win Women’s State Pairs
In a closely contested match played on the slick Numurkah greens, Tocumwal Golf pair Leigh Hansen (skip) and Pat Morrison were the eventual winners over Linda Isted (skip) of Numurkah and Yvonne Clark of Numurkah Golf. The match was decided on the last end when the Tocumwal Golf pair scored a four to claim victory 19/16.
The men’s State Pairs will be decided next Sunday at 10am when the Numurkah Golf pair of Geoff Sutcliffe and Frank Houlihan take on the Wunghnu pair of Barry Cosgrove and John McKenzie.
