State Triples clean sweep by Tocumwal

Tocumwal was victorious in both the Men’s and Women’s Triples finals played at Strathmerton Bowls Club.

In the Women’s event the Tocumwal team of Pat Morrison, Effie Eaton and Leigh Hansen (skip) were victorious over the Barooga team of Mary Smethurst, Cheryl Townsing and Kerry Ralph (skip). The final score being 19/9.

The Tocumwal Men’s team of Steve Conrick, Dave Hansen and Chris O’Connell (skip) in a very close and entertaining game were victors over the Wunghnu rink of Darryl O’Connor, Rick Anderson and John McKenzie (skip). The final score being 19/17.
